Mahoning County Children Services Presents 2023 DEI Event
Mahoning County Children Services’ Diversity Committee is sponsoring the 2023 DEI Annual event, featuring guest speaker Vannessa L. Dorantes, Commissioner of Connecticut Department of Children and Families.
Her presentation is entitled “Reducing the Disparity of Indigent and Minority Families Within the Child Welfare System.” Dorantes is a senior level administrator with more than 30 years of experience in Connecticut’s child welfare system. She is known as a demonstrated leader of change and an innovator for her adherence to principles that guide decision-making that helps improve outcomes for families.
