Tanner is a sweet child who enjoys playing video games and who is strong for his age.
Tanner has been in care on two occasions. He has had
multiple placements, including hospitalizations. Tanner has dealt with many
challenges in his young life. He is doing well in therapy and is addressing his
issues. He sees a therapist and therapy should continue upon placement in an
adoptive home. Tanner does take medication for behaviors.
Tanner’s birth mom was given rights by the court to continue
to visit Tanner six times per year until he is adopted. Any family interested
in Tanner will need to be understanding of this situation. Tanner has four
sisters, only one of whom is in foster care. He would like to maintain contact
by telephone, letters and pictures at a minimum with his sister in foster care.
