Sonni is a very intelligent,
creative and articulate 12 year old child. She loves drawing, coloring, riding her bike,
video games, cheerleading, dance and her siblings. Sonni can recite all fifty states in
alphabetical order. She is also very friendly and
enjoys people. She loves one on one attention and shopping for clothes.
Sonni has a short attention
span and can be easily distracted. She is currently in Belmont Pines Hospital for
disorderly and threatening behavior. She is taking medication to help both her mood and
attention. Sonni is prone to temper tantrums but counseling is implemented to resolve
issues of abuse and neglect and learning coping skills for her anger. Sonni needs a highly
structured home with clear guidelines and boundries.
Sonni has 9 siblings who are
very important in her life. Families interested in Sonni would need to be willing for her
to maintain contact with her siblings. Sonni is looking for a loving committed family that
can provide structure, patience, understanding and unconditional love, and not reject her.
This family should be willing to devote time, nurturing and attention to Sonni so she can
feel as if she is truly part of the family.
