
MICHAEL - Birthdate: December 1994
Michael is a handsome boy with
black hair and brown eyes. He is small in stature and has an adorable smile and friendly
face. Michael is a fair student who sometimes struggles academically. Michael is very
social and has a lot of friends. He loves sports and plays football. He also enjoys
playing video games.
Michael is the second youngest
of ten children. He enjoys monthly visits with his siblings. Families interested in
Michael would need to be willing to facilitate letters and/or phone contact with his
siblings. Michael needs an adoptive family who can provide him with a lot of structure,
patience and love. Michael does well with one on one attention.
Michael currently attends
counseling as needed to deal with past issues of abuse and neglect and is on medication
for his behaviors. He has no physical problems and is cognitively and developmentally on
target for his age.
Michael usually deals with
conflict by shutting down emotionally. Patience is necessary to help Michael open up and
to understand him. Michael can also be a clown, especially when he is around his
biological siblings. He also does comical antics at his foster home that keep his foster
parent laughing.
Michael would like to live with
a sibling. He would like his own room with his own closet. Michael would like a family
that can play with him and throw him a football. He states that his brothers and sisters
are very important to him and he would need a family that would let him stay in touch with
them. He also states that he would like a family that doesnt yell a lot. Michael
would also like a family with a good sense of humor and likes to laugh.
